Eleven schools participated in the Middle School division this year with students competing in events designed to challenge and inspire them in fields such as chemistry, physics, engineering, biology, ecology, and astronomy.  For more information on the Hawai'i State Science Olympiad please visit www.hsso.org.  Highlands Intermediate and Waimea Canyon schools are members of the RET Hawai'i program.
